The Disney Look is a series of grooming and appearance guidelines followed by Disney Cast and Crew Members. It is described in greater detail in the Disney Look Book, which is given to every new Crew Member. These guidelines include keeping your costume clean and looking neat, wearing appropriate hairstyles and jewelry, and always being ready to smile!

Hairstyling
Hair must be neatly cut and tapered on the back and sides, forming a smooth, symmetrical appearance so that it does not extend beyond or cover any part of the ears or the shirt collar. A modified "fade" cut is permitted. A modified box cut is permitted.

Jewelry
One ring per hand and a conservative, business-style watch are permitted. Necklaces, bracelets and ankle bracelets are not permitted. Jewelry may not be worn in any visible body piercings.

Mustaches, Beards & Side Burns
Neatly trimmed, well maintained mustaches are permitted. Please see the Disney Look Book for restrictions. Beards of any kind are not permitted. Sideburns should be neatly trimmed, straight and of even width, and may be permitted to extend to the bottom of the earlobe. Flared or extremely wide sideburns are not permitted.

Shoes
Men in costume or uniform, unless otherwise advised, are required to provide their own black leather lace-up oxford shoes with a plain toe. In some areas a white leather athletic shoe is required and some areas require black sandals.

Tattoos
Tattoos may not be visible while working.
