Disney Cruise Line is seeking a talented professional to fill our Executive Pastry Chef position. This position reports directly to our Food Manager and has full responsibility of the Pastry and Bakery areas on our 2700 passenger vessel.
Responsibilities include supervision of up to 20 Pastry and Bakery crew, full accountability of quality standards and production levels, accountability of food cost. Responsible for USPH in his/her area.
Candidates should possess a Certified Pastry Chef certification or equivalent. A minimum of 4 years in a similar leadership position, managing a multi-national team, is required. Previous shipboard experience is preferred.

An enthusiastic and energetic Chef De Cuisine needed for our exclusive onboard gourmet restaurant, Palo.
Palo is our 120 seat show case restaurant reserved for guests 18 years and older serving Northern Italian cuisine, champagne brunch and afternoon tea in an elegant atmosphere with an open kitchen. Chef De Cuisine has full charge of the Palo kitchen and its brigade of approximately 10 staff and reports directly to the Food Manager/Executive Chef.
Our Luxury Cruise Liners are multiple outlet 5 star vessels catering to 2700 guests daily and the Chef De Cuisine Palo may be called upon to assist in additional operational duties. Ideal candidate will be a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef with a strong background in high end Western cuisine with emphasis on Italian and Mediterranean cooking. Minimum of 2 years in a similar leadership position, as well as formal culinary training are required. Proven active involvement in menu creation/implementation a must. Previous shipboard experience is a plus but not required.

Disney Cruise Line is looking for a talented culinary professional to support the Food Manager/Executive Chef in overseeing Galley Operations on our Luxury Cruise Ships. Our ships cater to 2700 guests and 1000 Crew daily. The person in this position, along with the Food Manager, is responsible for the daily culinary operation of three, 450-seat restaurants; our 120-seat specialty restaurant, a large outdoor buffet style restaurant; as well as multiple Quick Service Outlets, room service and crew and officer dining areas.
In addition to responsibility for a galley crew 160 strong, the focus of the Asst. Food Manager will be on Quality control and improvement, recipe writing, productivity and cost control. The Asst. Food Manager also takes charge of the Galley Training Programs.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and training, proven experience in training large numbers of crew and is process minded. Leadership experience in a fast paced, large volume culinary operation with multiple outlets is required.

Manager Dining Services ensures service standards in all Food Service outlets are met and maintained. Directly supervise a team of restaurant managers and is ultimately responsible for a staff of over 140. Duties include training, performance feedback and scheduling; as well as monitoring of breakage, consumption and budgetary targets. Coordination of guest table reservations for our 3 main dining rooms and our specialty restaurant. Set goals for accountable department heads and foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation to maximize manpower and level of efficiency.
Our main dining rooms serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2700 guests. With a capacity of 450 seats per dining room, each restaurant serves 900 guests within a 4 hour period. With a 7-day menu rotation and different menu's for each restaurant, this ideal candidate must be a multi tasker and accustomed to a high volume/fast paced operation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar shipboard position.

Along with the Manager Food Operations, this person has full charge responsibility for the food and beverage operation on board the vessel. This includes our 3 main dining rooms, specialty restaurant, Quick Service areas, room service, Crew and Officer's mess areas as well as 18 lounges and beverage outlets.
Exposure to high volume operations is a must: Our 3 dining rooms seat a total of 1350 guests and, in addition to breakfast and lunch, serve a la carte dinner twice nightly to a total of 2700 guests. Our Crew areas cater to 1000 Crew daily.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience at department head level in the Food and Beverage field, plus a BS degree or equivalent in hospitality management. Previous shipboard experience is a plus.

This Senior Management position reports directly to the Hotel Director and has full responsibility for the entire onboard Merchandise operations.
Contracts are 4 months with an 8 week break between contracts.
Conducts training, scheduling, coaching and supervising of all Merchandise Staff. Supervises and assists in cleaning activities according to USPH standards. Receives and prices direct shipments and shipments from Foreign Trade Zone warehouse. Prepares computerized financial reports. Inspects shops and conducts periodical physical inventories; accountable for all shops' physical inventory. Ensures the visual appearance of display windows/shops are up to Disney Cruise Line quality standards. Performs sales duties when shops are busy. Coordinates sales promotion activities. Educates team on competitive merchandise in ports of call. Develops and recommends new product lines and/or creative methods to sell product.
The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience within a retail environment -- 5 years in retail minimum; 3 years in management. Duty free or shipboard experience preferred. Accounting background preferred. Visual Merchandise experience a plus. Demonstrated passion and strong ongoing focus toward exceeding customer satisfaction and sales goals. Ability to perform in a high guest contact, fast-paced environment.

Disney Cruise Line is looking for a Youth Activities Manager who will manage the daily operation (including activity/program schedule) of Guest/Crew experience aspects for all Infant, Youth and Teen Programming (Infant/toddler babysitting, 3-7 yr olds, 8-12 yr olds, & 13-17 yr olds).
This person will schedule staff, train, coach, team build, and motivate staff, operate within budget guidelines and inventory control, develop new operational procedures, resolve guest issues, and function as Youth Activities Counselor or related if needed.
The ideal candidate has strong computer skills (required), organizational skills, and presentation and communication skills with attention to detail. They must be able to lead a team and anticipate/solve problems quickly.
Candidates should have 2 years previous managerial experience in a related field, 4 years in a recreational and/or leisure programming operation (required) and college degree or related schooling relating to recreation, education, management or similar(preferred).

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Entertainment Operations Assistant to provide general administrative support for the Cruise Director and Entertainment department.
This person will assist the Cruise Director and onboard Leadership Team with projects as requested, review comment forms and distribute copies to appropriate managers, distribute and collect relevant contracts and verify compliance, maintain Location Operating Guide and Request for Change forms, support department managers in processing schedule change, transfer and extension requests, prepare, process and send shoreside partners personnel action notices, travel requests and contracts as directed by department managers, organize and schedule meetings for Cruise Director and his/her department, take Cruise Director meeting minutes, and update and maintain Cruise Director’s schedule.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, an ability to maintain confidential information, strong facilitation of HR concepts, computer fluency in Excel and Word, ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Previous shipboard and/or Disney experience a plus.
