| Island life is a special life. Living and working on a tropical
Bahamian paradise combines a lot of hard work with a lot of
great fun. Over 45 crew work continuously to prepare Castaway
Cay for our Guest to visit 3 day’s a week.
The four departments - Recreation, Maintenance, Custodial, and
Landscaping - work together every day to keep the island in
pristine condition for our Guest to experience time after time.
After a long day of sanitizing water gear, repairing machinery,
weeding bushes, and cleaning bathrooms, the island Crew turn to recreational
activities for some fun. Volleyball, barbecues, karaoke, and ping-pong
are just some of the ways the crew spend their free time after the
Guests have long set sail. For a more peaceful evening, many of the
crew simply hang outside talking under a beautiful starlit night.
Living and working in such a remote location as Castaway
Cay can be both challenging and rewarding. But
with Mother Nature as your
office, it’s like no other job you’ll ever have.
